This is the sign post forest in Watson Lake, YK. It started when the soldiers who built the Alaska Highway in 1942 put up signs showing how far they were from their homes. There are like over 6,000 signs from all over the world here now. Posted by Hello

We watched a show last week about the building of this highway. Really interesting. Modern Marvels on the history channel I think. I was hoping you'd get to see this!
